How to use this FAQ

Interior design education can look very different from one provider to another. Our answers focus on what we actually deliver: structured modules, guided exercises, and practical learning activities that can be completed from anywhere in Canada. Where a topic depends on context (for example, customized training for an organization), the answer explains what information we need to advise you.

Many questions come down to process. Registration is handled through a website request rather than an instant checkout. This keeps enrollment steps clear and lets us confirm the right program sequence, expected workload, and any recommended prerequisites. It also helps us match support to the type of work you want to do, such as adjacency planning for a small office, a furniture plan for a home layout, or an early concept board for a retail area.

For privacy and cookies, we keep the explanation simple: the form data is used to respond to your request, and analytics or marketing cookies only activate when you choose them. The detailed legal text is available on the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy pages.

Questions and answers

These answers describe our educational programs and learning support. They do not promise any specific professional or financial outcomes. Learner progress depends on practice time, implementation choices, and the specific environment being planned.

Are programs available throughout Canada?
Yes. Programs are designed to be accessible throughout Canada. Online learning formats, guided exercises, and workshop sessions support learners across provinces and time zones. When you send a request, include your location and preferred schedule so we can recommend a realistic rhythm for modules and exercises.
Do I need previous design experience?
Many introductory programs are beginner-friendly and do not require prior experience. If you are new to measured drawings, scale, or layout terminology, starting with Interior Design Foundations usually makes the rest of the curriculum easier. If you already work with floor plans, you may prefer Space Planning and Optimization first.
Are courses available online?
Many programs include online learning options. Modules are paired with guided exercises such as adjacency planning, circulation mapping, basic furniture blocking, and short written rationales that explain trade-offs. The goal is repeatable decision-making, not only visual inspiration.
How do I register?
Registration starts with a request through the website contact form. After you send your message, our team follows up with enrollment steps and the information needed for your chosen program. This approach helps confirm fit, workload expectations, and any recommended starting point before you commit time to a full sequence.
How long do programs last?
Duration varies by program. Current program lengths include 5 weeks (Color Theory and Design Harmony), 6 weeks (Interior Design Foundations), 7 weeks (Residential Environment Development), 8 weeks (Space Planning and Optimization; Commercial Space Design Essentials), and 10 weeks (Sustainable Interior Design Practices). If you need a different pace, mention your availability in your request.
Can organizations request customized training?
Yes. Customized educational solutions can be developed for organizations throughout Canada. A useful starting point is to describe the space type (office, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use), constraints (occupancy, storage needs, workflows), and the learning outcome you want (for example, better zoning decisions or a shared vocabulary for layout reviews).
Is educational support available?
Participants may receive educational guidance throughout the learning experience. Support typically focuses on clarifying concepts and helping you interpret exercise requirements, such as measurement assumptions, circulation widths, or how to document a layout rationale. Support is educational in nature and is not a substitute for regulated professional services.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment information is provided during the enrollment process after we confirm the program selection and registration steps. If your organization requires invoicing details or a purchase order reference, include that in your message so we can route your request correctly.
Are professional outcomes guaranteed?
No. Educational participation does not guarantee employment, professional success, business outcomes, financial outcomes, or specific personal results. The programs are designed for learning and professional development; results vary depending on practice and how techniques are applied.
Are certificates available?
Certain programs may include a certificate of completion where applicable. If you need a certificate for internal training records, mention that in your request and specify the program you are considering.
How is my data handled when I submit the form?
We use the information you submit to respond to your request and provide program details. We do not sell personal data. Analytics and marketing cookies activate only if you consent. You can read more in the Privacy Policy and adjust cookie choices using “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer.
